Dr Giulia Luciano DPhil. GMC No: 7486969
Location: Lees Place Medical Centre, Mayfair
Dr Giulia Luciano is a surgeon specialising in Thoracic Surgery and has been providing a minor surgery service for over 13 years and understands the importance of minimal scarring along with the patients’ comfort and safety.
She performs excision of subcutaneous lesions, such as cysts and deep-seated lipomas, and skin lesions such as moles, dermatofibromas, skin tags and warts.
Before moving to London for a Research Fellowship on “Multiple lung cancers” in 2014, Dr Luciano had completed comprehensive training in Surgery including Heart-Lung transplant at the University of Bologna and achieved the title of Specialist Doctor in Thoracic Surgery in 2013.
In 2017 she obtained a European PhD in Surgical Sciences, after numerous publications in international journals. She has been working as a surgeon in both an NHS hospital and a private practice in London since 2014. She is invited to speak at International Scientific Conferences annually
Dr Ash Thakore BSc MBBS DFFP DRCOG MSOM MRCP MRCGP. GMC No. 4602406
Dr Thakore has been providing an accredited enhanced (Level 3) minor surgery service for both NHS and private patients for over 15 years. He performs excisions, incisions, joint injections and cryotherapy to a wide range of lumps and bumps as part of a dedicated twice-weekly minor surgery service, amounting to approximately 500 procedures per year.
He is a GP trainer and is a partner at Victoria Medical Centre, a beacon Central London CQC-rated ‘OUTSTANDING’ practice.
Dr Rohit Kotnis BSC MBChB MRCS DipSEM. GMC No. 4289397
Rohit is a partner at the St. Clements Practice in Oxford and has a special interest in minor surgery procedures, joint injections and sports/musculoskeletal injuries. He qualified from Leicester University in 1996 and completed rotations in London and Oxford. Prior to entering General Practice, he completed six years of surgical training in 2010 and gained Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has extensive experience from performing minor surgery procedures for over 10 years. He is a keen teacher and trains medical students and GP trainees.
Dr Matt Ladbrook BSc MBChB PhD MRCGP DRCOG FAWM (GMC number 6128383)
Dr Matt Ladbrook is an experienced General Practitioner working in Solihull, West Midlands. He has worked with Clinical Options since 2021 and has been providing minor surgical services since 2013, having trained at the Royal Society of Medicine. All procedures are conducted with assistance from an experienced Healthcare Assistant.
Matt will take time to discuss the merits of different treatment options, ensure that any questions are answered, and give post-operative wound care advice. He is happy to provide extra support for nervous or needle-phobic patients.
Matt also combines NHS and private clinical duties with humanitarian work at REACT Disaster Response, where he is the charity’s Medical Advisor.
Dr Carolyne Smith Dermatology. GMC No. 3454523
Dr Carolyne Smith is a partner at GPS Healthcare in the Solihull, Birmingham area and has a special interest in minor surgery procedures. She has been qualified as a GP for 27 years. She is registered with the Royal College of Physicians as a GP with a special interest in Dermatology and has specialised in this area for 20 years. She is qualified in practical minor surgery and has an Advanced Qualification with the RCGP.
Dr Faiz Khan MB ChB FRCS DRCOG DFFP. GMC No.3581469

Faiz has been a GP Partner at the Malthouse Surgery in Abingdon since 2001. Prior to that he trained at Manchester University Medical School and completed house jobs at The Manchester Royal Infirmary. He then taught anatomy for a year at St Bart’s Hospital medical school and trained in Urology and General Surgery in London for a further seven years. He has been a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh since 1998. He has extensive experience of all types of minor surgery gained from weekly clinics at the Malthouse over the last 20 years.
